The Ralston Rams lost against the Mount Michael Benedictine Knights back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Ralston was dealt a 90-52 loss at the hands of Mount Michael Benedictine. Ralston has not had much luck with Mount Michael Benedictine recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Ralston lost, one person who can't be blamed is Deacon Courtney. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds. The match was Courtney's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Davinchi Gray, who scored 14 points.
Ralston's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Mount Michael Benedictine, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ralston will challenge Ashland-Greenwood at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mount Michael Benedictine, they will head out on the road to face off against Grand Island Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Grand Island Central Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
