Volleyball Recap: Lone Peak Extends Winning Streak to Two

Lone Peak won the last time they faced American Fork and Luhanna Panta did her part to make sure it happened again. The Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cavemen on Thursday for which the team can thank Panta, who had ten digs and four assists. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Lone Peak walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-22, 26-24.

The victory made it two in a row for Lone Peak and bumps their season record up to 16-9. As for American Fork, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-6.

Looking ahead, Lone Peak will head out to face off against Corner Canyon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for American Fork, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Timpview on the 3rd.
