The Lee Ganders will head out on the road to face off against the Barbers Hill Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lee is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
Last Friday, Lee came up short against Port Arthur Memorial and fell 52-39. While losing is never fun, Lee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 574th, while Port Arthur Memorial is ranked 151st).
Barbers Hill has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 59-48 to Crosby on Friday.
Lee has not been sharp recently as the team has lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-16 record this season. As for Barbers Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 27-6.
Lee lost to Barbers Hill on the road by a decisive 50-31 margin when the teams last played back in January. Can Lee avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
