Bloomfield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Deming only posted an OBP of .308.
Bloomfield has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Albuquerque Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 18-9.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Thursday. Albuquerque Academy hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Bloomfield struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.6 home runs.
