Softball Recap: Clear Springs Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dickinson last Friday, Clear Springs came back down to earth. The Chargers lost 15-6 to the Deer Park Deer on Tuesday. The Chargers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Alana Strever was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Erianna Garcia, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run.

Clear Springs' loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Deer Park, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 19-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clear Springs is set to face off against their familiar foe Clear Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Deer Park will square off against rival Dickinson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
