The Harvester Christian Academy Hawks lost against the Central Christian Crusaders back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Harvester Christian Academy took a serious blow against Central Christian, falling 49-17. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Harvester Christian Academy in their matchups with Central Christian: they've now lost four in a row.
Central Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Riley Clark, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Clark pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Passow, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Harvester Christian Academy now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Central Christian, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Harvester Christian Academy will be playing at home against Central Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Central Christian on the road again on Monday and play against Trinity Christian School of Griffin at 6:00 p.m. on January 22nd.
