White extended their postseason success on Friday against Adams. They never let the Cougars get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Longhorns, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

White is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-14-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Adams, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-11.

Coming up, White will take on Midlothian on Thursday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Longhorns' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Adams does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
