Texas Christian claimed a resounding 87-25 victory over Varsity Opponent at home. Texas Christian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four matchups by 25 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Brecken Pelzel, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Texas Christian's points. Daniel Williams was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 24-24 at halftime, Lake Houston HomeSchool was not quite Trinity's equal in the second half on Saturday. Lake Houston HomeSchool took a 54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Trinity.
The victory got Texas Christian back to even at 5-5. As for Lake Houston HomeSchool, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Everything came up roses for Texas Christian against Lake Houston HomeSchool in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 42-0 win.
