Gannon Jacobson and Co. Win Eighth in a Row
Southeast of Saline picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Gannon Jacobson. Nobody could stop Jacobson as he threw for 274 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground.
Southeast of Saline's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Jacobson's next matchup is against Larned on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

Southeast of Saline picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Grady Gebhardt. Ellsworth had no answer to Gebhardt as he rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 33 receiving yards. Gebhardt showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 68 yards.
This season, Gebhardt has averaged 23.7 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 7.83 receiving yards per game.

Tucker Thaxton Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Tucker Thaxton was instrumental in extending Southeast of Saline's winning streak to eight on Friday. Thaxton picked up 119 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 48 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the season, Thaxton has caught 9 touchdowns while averaging 76 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had four receiving touchdowns.
