The Fallston Cougars will be playing at home against the Aberdeen Eagles at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Aberdeen took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Fallston, who comes in off a win.
Last Monday, Fallston didn't have too much trouble with Havre de Grace on the road as they won 48-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Fallston.
Fallston can attribute much of their success to Natalie Wirth, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds, and Jadin Woods, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Ayla Galloway, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Aberdeen had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 56-29 loss at the hands of Edgewood on Monday.
Fallston's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. As for Aberdeen, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Fallston didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Aberdeen in their previous meeting back in February, but they still walked away with a 44-38 victory. Will Fallston repeat their success, or does Aberdeen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
