Softball Recap: Yale Has No Trouble Against Sandusky

While Yale didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Sandusky Wolves on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Yale and bumps their season record up to 6-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Sandusky, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8.

Yale wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-5 loss against Algonac on the 13th. As for Sandusky, they have also already played their next match, a 15-1 victory against Memphis on the 14th.
