The Christian Fellowship Eagles will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Calloway County Lakers at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Christian Fellowship will be strutting in after a win while Calloway County will be coming in after a loss.
Christian Fellowship can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent game last Friday. Couldn't have asked for a better start to 2024 than the 51-10 blowout they got on the road against Fort Campbell. With Christian Fellowship ahead 30-4 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Calloway County has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 55-43 to Boyle County on Friday.
Despite their loss, Calloway County saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Sayler Lowe, who scored 15 points, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaycee Crouch, who scored five points along with two steals.
Christian Fellowship's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Calloway County, their loss dropped their record down to 14-4.
Christian Fellowship didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Calloway County in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 66-60 victory.
