Jay lost against T.R. Miller two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Royals fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. The Royals' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Hayden Morris was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. Morris was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Morris wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jax Lowery, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Jay's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for T.R. Miller, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-8 record.

Coming up, Jay will face off against Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Royals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Jaguars have averaged an impressive 9.9 runs per game this season. As for T.R. Miller, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Flomaton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hurricanes will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
