Basketball Recap: Langham Creek Drops Highest Score of Season Against Cypress Woods

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Langham Creek). They blew past the Cypress Woods Wildcats 67-37 on Friday. The Lobos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Langham Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reese Fernandez, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Prevost, who almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds.

Langham Creek was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Langham Creek is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points over those games. As for Cypress Woods, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
