Rootstown barely beat Waterloo the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rovers blew past the Vikings 8-1 on Monday. The Rovers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.

Rootstown's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Waterloo, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Rootstown will venture away from home to square off against Rhodes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waterloo will be paying especially close attention to the Rovers' contest: after the Rovers face off against the Rams, they'll take on Waterloo again at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
