When it comes to explaining why San Luis Obispo lost, one person who can't be blamed is Isaiah Hernandez. Despite the final result, he rushed for 116 yards.
Tulare Union's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jordan Crisp, who threw for 330 yards and four touchdowns while completing 91.4% of his passes. Crisp is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last six games he's played. Tieler Peterson and his 124 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Tulare Union's victory.
San Luis Obispo's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Tulare Union, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.
San Luis Obispo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tulare Union will be playing in front of their home fans against Kingsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kingsburg is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
