Windham's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Portland Bulldogs by a score of 6-3. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Windham's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cayden McCartney, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one triple. Those three RBI gave McCartney a new career-high. Another was Aiden Rinaldi, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Windham's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Portland, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windham will take on Kennebunk at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.18 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Portland, they will square off against Cheverus at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs are facing the Stags at the right time seeing as the Stags are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
