Derek Miller put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in May of 2024 on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Greater Nanticoke Area is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 0-6 otherwise.
