The West Lincoln Rebels's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They lost to Foard at home by a decisive 60-43 margin. West Lincoln was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Foard apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Foard can attribute much of their success to Davoney Dellinger , who scored 16 points along with 8 steals and 6 rebounds. Dellinger is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jessica Bailey , who scored 6 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals.
West Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Foard, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Lincoln will take on Cherryville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Cherryville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 last Tuesday. As for Foard, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Maiden at 6:30 p.m.
