Shaurya Jain turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than six strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He was up against Westmoor and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in March of 2024. Jain is becoming a predictor of Harker's success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 5-1 (and 3-6 when he doesn't).
