The Russell Rustlers''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 7-0 to Great Falls. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Russell in their matchups with Great Falls: they've now lost six in a row.
Ben Hoiland threw for 160 yards on 16 of 33 attempts. River Wasson was his top target, picking up 71 receiving yards and no touchdowns. On the ground, Kaiden Clement gained 105 total yards.
Russell's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Great Falls, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Russell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Great Falls will be playing in front of their home fans against Sentinel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Montana (Sentinel is ranked 29th, while Great Falls is ranked 34th).
