The Legacy Academy Silverbacks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Clayton Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Legacy Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matchups -- so hopefully Clayton likes a good challenge.
Last Friday, Legacy Academy faced Menaul in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Legacy Academy breezed by Menaul on the road to the tune of 44-12. The result was nothing new for Legacy Academy, who have now won five contests by 28 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Clayton put the finishing touches on their third blowout victory of the season on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Dulce 54-0 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Clayton.
Legacy Academy's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.1 points per game. As for Clayton, their victory bumped their record up to 5-5.
Everything came up roses for Legacy Academy against Clayton when the teams last played back in September as the team secured a 62-26 victory. Does Legacy Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Clayton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
