The Moore Haven Terriers's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They came out on top against Glades Central by a score of 47-40. This was payback for Moore Haven, who suffered a 46-44 loss the last time these two teams met.
It was another big night for Preslynn Baker, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Akeelah Ling, who scored 11 points.
Moore Haven's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Glades Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
Moore Haven will be playing in front of their home fans against Marco Island Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Marco Island Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Glades Central, they will head out on the road to take on Dr. Joaquin Garcia at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Dr. Joaquin Garcia will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
