She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over nine innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off ten hits. Dawley was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.
In other batting news, Bailie Bare was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and a run. Another player making a difference was Jocelyn Lansing, who scored a run and stole four bases while going 1-for-4.
Meanwhile, New Richmond scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Clinton-Massie as New Richmond made off with a 14-4 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for New Richmond considering their two-run performance the matchup before.
Blanchester's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-9. As for New Richmond, their record now sits at 3-1.
