The Otterville Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 82-54 loss at the hands of Tipton. Otterville was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-21.
Jackson Bailey was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with four steals for Tipton. Bailey has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Moon, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.
Otterville dropped their record down to 6-12 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Tipton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Smithton the next time they take the court. Tipton will host Smithton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Otterville will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
