The Pinkston Vikings will head out to face off against the North Dallas Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Thursday, Pinkston got the win against Conrad by a conclusive 15-1. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Jahvon Moreno made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. Pinkston is undefeated when Moreno posts two or more stolen bases, but 3-7 otherwise.
In other batting news, Eric Pasillas was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Daniel Rojas, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, North Dallas made easy work of Carter on Thursday and carried off a 15-4 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.
Like Pinkston, North Dallas also got a great game from a two-way player: Kenyerberht Jos? Olivier Rivas. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Those ten strikeouts gave Olivier Rivas a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing Four bases. while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lyric Strambler, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.
North Dallas always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Carter only posted an OBP of .448.
Pinkston's record is now 6-7. As for North Dallas, their record is now 5-7.
North Dallas' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Pinkston hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .331. It's a different story for North Dallas, though, as they've only averaged .231. Will they be able to contain Pinkston's hitters?
Pinkston came out on top in a nail-biter against North Dallas in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-0. Does Pinkston have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Dallas turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
