The David Anderson Blue Devils will venture away from home to face off against the St. John Heralds at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. David Anderson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.
David Anderson lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Lordstown, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's matchup. The Blue Devils never let the Red Devils get on the board and left with a 22-0 victory on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.
Kamryn Peruchetti was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Sofia Brown was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Emelia Cook also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
David Anderson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .594. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .323 or higher in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, St. John sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over Mathews on Friday.
Like David Anderson, St. John also got a great game from a two-way player: Isabelle Holler. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Holler was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mary West, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Caitlyn Carney, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
St. John now has a winning record of 10-9. As for David Anderson, their record now sits at 8-13.
