Meade is 5-0 against the since December of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Meade pushed their score all the way to 66 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 78-66 to Broadneck.
Meade's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Josh Holmes, who scored 21 points, and Keon Scott who scored 20 points. It was the first time this season that Holmes scored 15 or more points. Ashton Turman was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Even though Chesapeake Science Point has not done well against the Cougars recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Chesapeake Science Point secured a 52-47 W over the Cougars.
Meade's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Chesapeake Science Point, their win ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-11.
