They were a single  set away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Franklin Yellowjackets. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Yellowjackets earlier this season, when they won  2-0.
 In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Tokay sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 20-25, 25-20, 17-25,  15-9.
 Ralph Doria paced Tokay's offense, picking up 18 kills. Doria got some help from  Rian Dimalanta and his 36 assists. Doria was also solid from the service line:  he led the team with six aces.
Tokay's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Franklin,  the  victory snapped their losing streak at seven games  and leaves them with a 4-16 record.
