Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pepperell). They couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 64-18 blowout they got against the Trion Bulldogs. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Pepperell's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10. As for Trion, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pepperell won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Coosa at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pepperell is facing Coosa at the right time seeing as Coosa is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Trion, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Model at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
