Despite the loss, San Marcos had strong showings from Ory Williams, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and two blocks, and Cash Good, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Donavan Riddick, who scored seven points.
San Marcos has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 21-13 record this season. As for New Braunfels, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 29-4.
San Marcos will head out on the road to challenge East Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully San Marcos focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday. As for New Braunfels, they will be playing at home against Judson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Braunfels has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 905 points over their last 14 matchups.
