Good Hope put another one in the bag  on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by  a  9-2 margin over the Holly Pond Broncos. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Broncos, too.
 Caden Drake made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and only one walk). That's the fewest  hits  he has allowed since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in March of 2024.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Parker Johnson, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  hits (two).  Kane Anderson was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
Good Hope's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Holly Pond, they now  have a losing record of 1-2.
 Coincidentally, Good Hope and Holly Pond will both be playing Cold Springs the next time they take the field. Good Hope will head out to face Cold Springs at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday, while Holly Pond will head out to face them  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
