The North Bergen Bruins''s game on Thursday was all tied up 6-6 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 26-19 to Bloomfield. North Bergen was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bloomfield apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2021.
James Fields was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Fields was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 54 yards.
North Bergen's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-5. As for Bloomfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season.
North Bergen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bloomfield is also done with their season.
