Drake/Anamoose will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Towner-Granville-Upham at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
It could have been worse for Drake/Anamoose, but it could have been a whole lot better too, as the team fell 0-17 to North Star/Starkweather last Friday.
Meanwhile, everything went Towner-Granville-Upham's way against Dunseith last week as they made off with a 40-14 win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Towner-Granville-Upham had established a 40-8 advantage.
Towner-Granville-Upham's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Drake/Anamoose's loss dropped them down to 0-2. Drake/Anamoose's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Towner-Granville-Upham defensive front that amassed 3 sacks against Dunseith, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
