Mountain Pointe strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 62-52 victory over the Carl Hayden Community Falcons. The 62-point effort marked the Pride's lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Mountain Pointe's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Carl Hayden Community, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain Pointe will host Arizona College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pride will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Carl Hayden Community, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against North at 7:00 p.m. The Falcons will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
