Zuniga Came Up Big in Roosevelt's 42-36 Defeat
Starting off the list is Roosevelt's Jaden Zuniga, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Zuniga rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also picked up 63 receiving yards and a touchdown.incredibly, Zuniga got all that yardage with just one huge grab

Nathan Martens put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Thursday. He threw for 252 yards and two touchdowns while completing 95.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
If the past is any indication, Martens could be in store for another big game when he takes on Littlefield on Friday. When Martens last faced the Wildcats back in August of 2023, he threw for 360 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.4 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
