After constant struggles on the road, Edison have finally found some success away from home. Everything came up roses for them against Hale on Friday as the squad secured a 54-6 victory. The success made it back-to-back wins for Edison.
The game started off well for Edison, whose offense put up 47 first-half points. Meanwhile, Hale couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 47-0 heading into the break. The Edison defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the game.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Edison take on McAlester at 7:00 PM. Those two teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous games. As for Hale, they will face off against Coweta. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
