Concordia has gone 6-1 against Cole Camp recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Concordia will square off against Cole Camp at 5:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Concordia barely beat Northwest the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Concordia blew past Northwest 14-1 on Thursday. Considering the Fighting Orioles have won five games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Olivia Hemme made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Concordia let Ava Mueller and Addition Roepe run wild. Mueller went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI, while Roepe went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI Mueller has posted since back in April of 2024. Emily Wilkens also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Concordia kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in five consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Cole Camp hadn't done well against Crest Ridge recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Cole Camp skirted past Crest Ridge 11-10. The Blue Birds' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Kristin Carl was a standout: she went 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Madolyn Flores was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5.
Concordia's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Cole Camp, their record is now 3-0.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Concordia hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .357. However, it's not like Cole Camp struggles in that department as they've averaged .448. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Concordia took their victory against Cole Camp in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Concordia since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
