St. Mary entered their tilt with Boyd County on Tuesday with 14 consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with 15. They breezed past the Boyd County Spartans to the tune of 74-43. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

St. Mary's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Pyper Ickes, who went 9-for-17 en route to 24 points along with six assists and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Ickes a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Annabelle Barlow, who went 6-for-10 on her way to 16 points in addition to six steals and five boards.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaylee Lechtenberg, who posted seven points and seven rebounds. Elly Zeisler was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and 14 boards.

St. Mary's victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points over those games. As for Boyd County, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-20.
