After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southeast Halifax, The Warren County Eagles were happy to have found some success on Monday. They took down North Edgecombe 34-20. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Warren County's six-point performance the matchup before.
North Edgecombe's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Michael Dickens, who rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Warren County's win bumped their record up to 5-5. As for North Edgecombe, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
