The Oak Hills Bulldogs had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They blew past Palm Desert 67-45. Considering Oak Hills has won three matchups by more than 21 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Palm Desert's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kamrynn Nathan, who scored 16 points, and Jecorey Jones who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. The match was Nathan's sixth in a row with at least ten points.
Oak Hills' win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Palm Desert, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3.
Oak Hills will head out on the road to face off against Beaumont at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Beaumont focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 last Friday. Palm Desert will be home for the holidays to greet Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 521st, while Palm Desert is ranked 244th).
