He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Thomas Edwards, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds.
Falmouth Academy was handed a two-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Rising Tide on Friday. Falmouth Academy blew past Rising Tide 57-23 on the road. That looming 57-23 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Falmouth Academy yet this season.
Avon's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Falmouth Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Everything went Avon's way against Falmouth Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as Avon made off with a 56-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Avon since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
