  Charlie Overton made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  pitched  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks). Overton was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 In other pitching news, Greenwood Christian Academy got a great performance from  Preston Van Til as he  struck out ten batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits (and only one walk).
 Back at the plate,  Will Simons was a standout: he scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.  Wyatt Schlageter was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Indianapolis Kings suffered a  rough 23-16 defeat at the hands of Sheridan  last Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  two weeks ago (15), Indianapolis Kings still had to take the loss.
 Greenwood Christian Academy came up short against Indianapolis Kings in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023, falling  8-3. Can Greenwood Christian Academy avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
