Arcadia and Pasadena are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Apaches will take on the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Arcadia turned things around against Glendale on Friday. They strolled past the Nitros with points to spare, taking the game 41-24. The Apaches' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pasadena, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They snuck past Crescenta Valley with a 27-21 win on Thursday. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 27-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Falcons cut but never quite recovered from.
Pasadena's win came from a few key players Arcadia will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Dutch Burbidge, who rushed for 55 yards and one TD on only six carries, and also threw for 195 yards and one touchdown. Another player making a difference was Synncere Pitts, who gained 61 total yards and two touchdowns.

Friday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: 'AJ' Pressnall and Burbidge. 'AJ' Pressnall just won't slow down this season and has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 222.6 passing yards per game. Burbidge has been a dominant force too and has thrown 24 touchdowns (and and only 4 pick) while averaging 260 passing yards per game.
Arcadia might still be hurting after the 36-14 loss they got from Pasadena when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Apaches avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
