Wilkes-Barre had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Berwick Bulldogs by a score of 4-2. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Wilkes-Barre's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 44th, while Berwick are ranked 152nd).

Wilkes-Barre hit Berwick with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alaina Reese (2), Addison Corchado, and Ella Mahmoud.

Wilkes-Barre now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Berwick, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, Wilkes-Barre and Berwick will both be playing Hazleton Area the next time they take the pitch. The Wolfpack will host the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
