Sedgwick simply couldn't be stopped on Friday, as they easily beat Independent 52-14. The success made it back-to-back wins for Sedgwick.
Sedgwick's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 42 points in the first half. Independent came up with 7 to make it 42-7 heading into the break. The Sedgwick defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the game. The contest pushed Independent down to 0-2 and pulled Sedgwick up to the reverse at 2-0.
Next week Sedgwick take on Sterling . Independent are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Belle Plaine at 7:00 PM.
