The Ridgedale Rockets will head out on the road to square off against the Hardin Northern Polar Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hardin Northern took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Ridgedale, who comes in off a win.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Ridgedale ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They had just enough and edged Upper Scioto Valley out 43-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Ridgedale has posted yet this season.
Meanwhile, Hardin Northern's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They lost to Fort Jennings on the road by a decisive 58-41 margin.
The victory got Ridgedale back to even at 6-6. As for Hardin Northern, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Ridgedale, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 40-22 loss to Hardin Northern in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. Can Ridgedale avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
