On Thursday, Clifton didn't have too much trouble with Strawn on the road as they won 44-25. The win made it back-to-back wins for Clifton.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clifton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kate Humphreys, who scored eight points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Humphreys has scored all season. Camy Barsh was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Clifton is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Strawn, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clifton's road trip will continue as they head out to face Keene at 6:15 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Keene is on a three-game streak of home wins, Clifton a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Strawn, they will head out on the road to face off against Bluff Dale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bluff Dale comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
