Donnie Yant posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out five batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). He has become a key player for Vicksburg: the team is 4-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 6-7-1 otherwise.
