There's no place like home for Bulloch Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 45-6 win over the St. Andrew's Lions. The Gators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 25 points or more this season.

Bulloch Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Danye Garvin out in front who rushed for 118 yards and one score on only eight carries. Those 118 rushing yards gave Garvin a new career-high. Sam Hubbard was in the mix too, providing Bulloch Academy with two TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Bulloch Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 279 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Andrew's only rushed for 64.

Bulloch Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.0 points over those games. As for St. Andrew's, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Bulloch Academy will square off against rival Pinewood Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Garvin and Sam Wasson. Meanwhile, St. Andrew's is set to challenge their familiar foe Frederica Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
